Epoxy: Fiberglass repair *PIC*

I was getting ready to put a final fill coat on the inside of my hull when I noticed a bubble. I started poking around and noticed that it was soft. I used 6 oz glass and MAS epoxy with slow hardener. The hull has been glassed for about 3 weeks and I didn't notice the bubble until today. I cut a small section out with a razor blade. The epoxy underneath was sticky. I used the tip of the blade to pry at the edges until I got to solid epoxy. I can't find any more soft spots on the boat. I did some searching through old posts and figure I didn't mix the epoxy thoroughly. I scraped the sticky epoxy off and have the area sanded.

My question is how do I complete the repair? Do I just put an oversized piece of glass, apply epoxy and feather the edges when done?

This spot will be between the front edge of the the cockpit and the fore bulkhead.

Thanks,

Aaron
