Paddle: Greenland paddle observation

My last few trips of about 12 miles each I alternated and determined that I feel MUCH less weary
at the end of a trip with the Greenland paddle and complete the trip in about the same amount of time...at cruise speeds. IMO this means I used less energy to travel the same distance. !!

In the past I used the Greenlander for short distance play stuff and did'nt really see a big value increase over the euro. Thats all changed now...

My Greenland paddle is now my primary with my Euro on the back deck I still feel like I want that in heavy circumstances until i learn to relax more and trust technique in steep chop, surf, wind/current.

My boat (self design)is very efficient/easy to propel at cruise speed maybe that is a factor i don't know, maybe with my boat with the Euro I am pushing too hard into the less efficient speed zone and thus wasting energy, ie my boat is not so efficient at high speed.(rocker, beam).

Anyway it was very cool to discover this value in the greenland paddle that forces me to make it my primary..
sure am glad i watched the How to video that was posted on here and made one.

i'll introduce the boat properly later when it's done here is a test run with my son in it. You all get the credit for it i took what you taught and was able to achieve the handling traits i wanted and they were very specific.
