: If so could you describe it or show a bit more detail?

The sheer strip was just stapled on after pre-bending using a bending iron. The staples held it well enough until the first couple additional strips were installed. I needed to be careful clamping the first couple subsequent strips in order to avoid distorting or moving the sheer strips. I just wrapped the strips being glued together with stretched inner tube rubber until the carpenter's glue set - in other words, I did not pull on them from an external anchor point which would have bent them out of fair before several strips were glued in place to stiffen things up. Once I had three or four strips in place, I clamped them as described elsewhere in my description of my tube rubber clamps. I was using 5/8 x 3/16 strips, so they were pretty easy to bend out of alignment.

As usual, the positions of the sheer strips was marked on the station print-outs which were glued to the plywood stations.

I thought, by the way, that I replied to this yesterday, but the reply seems to have evaporated. Has anyone else had this problem, or did I just screw something up?
