Do you mean that just the top edge -- where the deck will attach -- has an outward wave in it? You can easily hold the edge in proper line with your hands? I think it's not unusual, but would like to here from others, too.

I had it pretty bad on one of the S&G's I built. I think it was from differing amount of give in the panels, and from a bit of warp where the butt joints were glassed. It was not exactly easy to hold them in proper line with my hands. I was paranoid that glassing it that way would lock in the warp. I wound up hot-gluing in some wood blocks at points where I needed to push or pull, then engineered bracing to hold things while I did the exterior glass. I'm not entirely sure it was a worthwhile or necessary exercise.

: Hi,

: I posted this question the other day with no responses so i thought
: i'd give it one more shot. I've just finished with the fillets
: on the inside of my Night Heron Hybrid and am noticing the hull
: is not quite fair. There are 7 exterior forms that hold the
: plywood hull to shape for the process of stitching and gluing.
: I'm noticing that where the hull panels span between forms they
: are bowing out slightly toward the top making the side panels
: just out of fair. Should i do something to 'fix' the bowing
: issue before i glass the inside of the hull or is this normal
: and will get corrected later on? If i should do something now,
: any suggestions?

: Thanks,
: Damian
