Hi,

As I hope to finish my first build by next spring I will be the proud owner of 3 beautiful kayaks. However, i'll also be a less than proud divorsee if i don't stop storing/hanging them in the house. I'm looking to build a 20' long 'dog house' in essence to store the kayaks outdoors. While the kayaks will be enclosed on all sides, the space would not be heated. Does anyone have experience or an opinion on storing wood yaks outdoors in New Jersey. Worst case scenario i store them in this elongated 'kayak house' during paddling months and move them to the basement in the winter.
