My Guillemot sat unfinished like this for about 9 months. Admittedly through a Winter nothing like as cold as you experience though.

If you have finished stripping, then I can't imagine the strongback being able to warp at all, since the strongback is now pretty much held by the stapled strips (rather than the other way around). So I'd have thought it would be fine. (I'm a novice though, so take my post in that light!)
