: All resins contain solvents. The rollers to avoid are those with
: the plain cardboard tubes, usually the cheapest rollers you can
: find have these. None of the rollers that work well are real
: inexpensive, and the ones you want usually will have advertising
: on them stating that they have a phenolic coated core. (probably
: won't say that exactly that way) Often this is a trial and error
: thing, find one and try it. Actually for most first time
: builders I'd recommend just using chip brushes and buy a box of
: them, around 2" wide. I go thru boxes and boxes of them and
: buy as many as I can find on sale, but I do alot of epoxy work
: so they'll always get used, eventually.

The problem with chip brushes is that they shed bristles. How do you deal with this? It's kind of OK to have an occasional bristle in a multi-layer layup, but for finish work it's tough.
