My spokeshave makes nice curly shavings that come out pretty close to identical. My wife likes the smell of cedar, so I brought some in and used them as holiday decorations. After that I read Mark Cunningham's book, and he said he does the same thing.

Good for you checking local sources. Always good to help the local business. It's a good price on your clear VG WRC.
