"Photo" is a picture of the shaft. The glue ridges are left from the inner surface of the blade. The shaft itself is completely smooth.
"Photo1" is a washed out and somewhat crappy picture of what's left of the snapped blade - At least the 3 mile paddle back to the car was downstream!
