Ahoy, it might be worth trying some sort of seat with padding under the upper thighs. This ramps the seat up like that of a car seat and gives some support. Without that upper thigh support my legs go to sleep after about 30 minutes. At 40 minutes, my legs go to the point of collapsing when I stand up. However, once I got a seat and ramped the front up ... worked like a charm.

Good be worth exploring and might mean you can use your fine boat a bit longer.
