Here in Northeast Louisiana people refer to the river as if it were a man eating monster. Well, yesterday and today I got to paddle it in my new Sea Tour 15 R. We went to check out an island to see if it was a good place to bring families for a cookout and to play in the sand and in the water.

Both days we had a blast. I'm very pleased with the Sea Tour. It tracks like it's on a rail. In the eddies it got a little squirrely but was not hard to keep straight.

Looking forward to the Phatwater Challenge in a couple of weeks. Still apprehensive about sitting in my boat for 5-6 hours. May need help getting out at the end of the day.
