Hello all,

I an currently working on my first kayak (a Guillemot), and I have been generally following the procedures in Nick Schade's book. I was studying Vaclav's pages on his One Ocean Design site (http://www.oneoceankayaks.com/Wshophtm/Shop6.htm), and I was wondering if you folks have found his methods useful when filling large areas and for building up the keel area (http://www.oneoceankayaks.com/Wshophtm/Shop6a.htm)? It looks like this method may be a little easier and require less use of the heat gun as well as less stress on the wood. So I though that I might elicit the opinions your enlightened minds on this subject.
