I skinned a Sea Flea last July by myself. It has wrinkles too. After looking at it I've decided that the bottem should be pieced together like I did the top. Using different colors would be optional. Next time I'll use three pieces on the bottom. One in the center and then one on each end. I think the seams distract less than the wrinkles. :)

I worked outside. It was much easier when the sun was out and the vinyl was warm. I light breeze helped clean the air as well.

: I've just skinned 2 Sea Tour 15Rs, both have wrinkles. I can't see
: how to avoid them. Tom has carefully designed in some rocker in
: this boat, but as far as I can see more rocker = more wrinkles.
: I think I removed most of the design rocker when I was
: stretching to get rid of wrinkles. As a result my boats track
: beautifully, but turn quite leisurely even when edged. I'm not
: complaining, it just seems that it is the nature of the boat.
: I'd like to hear other's experience with this.
