The Duckworks article mentioned using it. I can how one could have issues if the Dacron wasn't fully bonded to the frame. Mine stuck very well even when I shrunk the hull before attaching the deck (I have NO idea why I did it that way.). Staple work great, thought for a bright finished skin, I liked that I didn't need a rubstrip to hide them.

You know... I keep having this crazy thought of doing away with either staples or glue. Think: SPLINES. Maybe for just a deck (ala "Elsie")... hmmm. I may have to try it on my daughter's new boat (to be built in the spring). I'm making her another Greenland paddle for Christmas. This one will be sleeved with CF/pink-colored fiberglass to match her new boat!
