I wish I had time to do my own thing and go hunt for lumber. My friend is going to run me to the hardware stores to check out the stock there. However maybe I need to scavenge some of the windfallen lumber locally when I return home. My neighbor had a mahogany tree uprooted by the storm. Didn't consider trying green mahogany for bending. I was going to go with mahogany ribs before this trip came up and I thought I would try to pick up some white oak. Have access to red oak that I may try as a last resort. I'm not too concerned about the weight.
