: Greetings all;
: After a couple of tests, it appears that moving the seat just a
: couple of inches (forward or back) can really affect the overall
: speed of the kayak. Is there a systematic approach to finding
: the best place to position the seat?

i should have said..
Find a lake, no current, less wind the better. Adjust your seat. Time your paddle between two points
a few times to get an average or use gps.. Reposition the seat, repeat until you've
found your fastest speeds.
