: kayaks in the ceiling of my garage (helps that I've got a really
: tall ceiling in the garage). Costs about $30 for each boat btw,
: so "much" less money than paying for the Harken
: Hoister which works really well but isn't cheap. (specially for
: 6 boats )

Btw, the bike lifts I got from Menards, Harbor Freight and others sell the same thing, about $15 each but the axles they use for the pulleys are cheap rivits, I drilled them out and use grade 8 - 1/4x20 bolts and upgraded the mounting bolts also with grade 8 - 1/4x20 bolts, drilling out the rivits (5 pulleys for each boat = 4 mounting bolts per boat) and drilling out the holes and replacing the rivits with bolts took awhile. Costs time to be cheap .
