In Response To: Strip: Epoxy Question (Patsy)

: Hey fellow boat builders. I'm about to start my Redfish Golden and
: have some Raka epoxy left over from the canoe I build over 5
: years ago. The resin is very thick and won't pour. Do I need to
: pitch it and buy new or is there a way to make it useable?

: Thanks,

: Patsy

This tends to be the downside to non-airtight non-light proof containers. Happens to West brand epoxy too if the pumps are left in place and it's stored.

What everyone said, warm the resin in hot water and see if it thins.
