Good question.

I don't intend to use them at all.
I listened to the posts and made my decision:
FG is the best composition of price - strength - weight for a person
with my level of income (which is ZERO ! ).

Even thought the pricy materials are stronger than FG,
FG is still very strong, and we all experienced its strength
on our stripper/S&G boats .

I plan my next boat to be a SOF folder ,
and the little reinforcing cloth I plan to use on it is going to be FG .
Now don't give me a lecture about skins - I said "reinforcing cloth" - and I mean for the joints.
The skin is a different issue.

And having mentioned my level of income - anybody looking for a Sys Admin
in Toronto - Ontario (GTA) ?
