Thanks, David. That is a very clever idea. There are many more on your excellent site and I enjoyed them all. I can see how you were inspired to build your kayaks by 'Porcupine', which strikes me as a cross between a kayak and a martial arts weapon.

I noticed in your video 'Baidarka Cling Wrap Test' that the sand on your beach is even whiter than our beaches here on the South China Sea. Just kidding, or as they say here 'joke-joke'.
