It's like acrylic paint. If it dries in the brush, you might as well throw it away.

BTW - to change the subject, I think the worse thing to get off your hands is that expandable foam in a can. I had to do some house work with it and as usual in a rush (no gloves) and got some on my hands. The only thing that would work was acetone.
