I just called the local painter's supply and found out that the sale and use of 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner is now banned in Ohio. So- looks like their naptha wax-remover concoction is the next-best bet. Big bummer. That 3M stuff REALLY worked. The guys say it takes 3-4x as much product to get adhesive off as with the 3M, so I'm not exactly sure it makes VOC sense, and I'm not sure it will even work for the other stuff I use it for.

As long as they don't start banning the oil paints I use because they have heavy metals...
