Good morning evryone, I hope all is well.

Ive carved out two greenland paddles and they are workning out fine, both were solid wood .

I now want to tinker with an aluetian or euro type paddle but laminated (I will do a laminated greenland at some time)

anyway what glue have you gents been using?? I make custom fishing rods and turn my own grips, ive had good luck with titebond waterproof glue.

I havnt had any grip failures even on saltwaer fly rods

I did a few experiments and it seems that the joint with wood glue can be clammped tight while epoxy needs a slight gap for the strength needed.
