Good day all,

I am just perplexed about this drowning of four men in Idaho. It seems like this was just a flatwater reservoir that couldn't have had too much current. I could see one, maybe two people drowning in this type of incident, but can't imagine how four people could all drown. The ages were 57, 26, and 30 years old. I guess we can use it as an example of reason to wear a life preserver, but I'm just curious if anyone else has information about this that's not on the national news. What were the conditions? Is there a dam nearby that maybe had the spillway open to cause a current? Water temperature? I figure it's warm this time of year up there, but not sure about water temps.

It is tragic, and my prayers are with the families. I am not wanting to start a thread about what they did right or wrong. I am more curious about conditions at the time of the incident. Respectfully wanting to learn from it, not exploit it. Please be respectful in your responses as well.
