: Ok, Ive spent about a monumental amount of time on this one problem
: and I need help.
: So, I took a video of what I am up against and you can see it at
: this link:

: To try and explain my problem...
: I am not liking the look of the chine lines between sections 1 and
: 2 of this Sea Pup. It comes in and up alot, and just doesnt seem
: to follow the lines of the rest of the boat. Also I measured
: between the Gunwales and chine the length of the kayak, and its
: all averaging about 6" or just under.... all the way from
: the stern to section two, then at section one it seems to jump
: to 7". Ok, so I thought for sure I had my offsets wrong and
: double checked. It looks like I got it right. What am I doing
: wrong?
: Or is the boat lines suppose to have that curve in it? The chine
: just doesnt seem to want to fall into place at section 2. So, I
: just cant see how its right.

: Desperate for some advice... nervous as heck making the video, so
: dont laugh too hard guys! *wink
: Appreciate your time.
: Warm Smiles, ~Heather and Lilly

Hi Heather,

I can't see the vid right now, work's computer has vids blocked, but you most certainly wouldn't be the first to mis draw and cut a Yost frame. I've done it a couple times, putting the boat together and thinking "hmmm...this can't be right" then going back and having to make a frame again. It's fairly easy to lay out the frames and check the measurements to see if they really are right.

I'll take a look at the vid at home tomorrow.
