Mike,
You can use paper to skin any of the SOF frames you've built over the years.

Look at the selection of background materials offered by Porter's Camera Store in Cedar Falls Iowa. They have a 53" wide paper which is we yards long. About $40 per roll, plus shipping. That should be enough to get 2 seamless hull skins and enough scrap to piece into two decks. Or, you could do a double thick hull.

If you don' mind a seam, they have the same paper in 26" width---and for big boats you can get the stuff 108" wide.

The Savage brand backgrounds are very tough, thick papers, and come in lots of colors. So varnish over it and you won't need paint.

If there is a photo store near you which deals in studio products for pros they might have this in stock and save you shipping costs.
