We think it will never happen to me.

We just don't realize how very close we always are to death and destruction.

Were' just a big bag of water with sticks holding us up.

A saw blade, a wheel off the road, or a flip into ice water, and we're in deep trouble.

All you have to do is watch that crazy home video show to wonder how many of us survive.

I was in a motor cycle accident when I was 17 and would be dead if I hadn't had a helmet on.
As is was I almost died and ended up with a short leg for the rest of my life. I never looked at things the same.

Here in Maine motor cyclists don't wear helmets. Hit your head on anything lately?

I wish they didn't have to pass a law, but if it will save one life, it's worth it.

Just think about those two young women.
