Skin-on-Frame: Adding foot/hip/thigh braces with minicell

So my Seatour 15 fits pretty loosely right now, and I'm looking to outfit the interior and get things more snug. I have a Snapdragon back band, and 3' x 1' x 3" minicell foam. I'm intending to at least carve some kind of thigh brace, use some as foot pegs (probably just by setting it against the cross-section, and possibly add hip pads as well. I figured there should be enough for a seat there as well, but wasn't married to that idea.

Any resources on how to properly cut and shape these? The photos of the NRS minicell stuff doesn't reflect dimensions, and I'm not sure how big my rough cuts should be.

Thanks,

Stephen
