Drilling hole in bow/stern for toggle

What I do is shape a piece of wood that will fill the ends of the hull to about 2.5" back from the ends. Epoxy that in with thickened epoxy. Then when I go to attach the deck to the hull, I tape them together with fiberglass packing tape as everyone does. Then, I undo the tips, pry them apart and use a plastic knife and put in some thickened epoxy and re-tape them shut. You now will have solid tips to drill through for your grab handles without doing end pours.
