: Howdy...

: Just starting a build of the Sea Tour 17R and I'm afraid that my
: size 13 feet, usually with Keen paddling shoes on, might not
: fit. Has anyone else with large feet paddled this boat? Can I
: keep the cross section offsets on #'s 3 & 4 the same or
: should I increase the deck height numbers a bit? Based on the
: Yost numbers, #3 is 0.898 ft and #4 is 0.200 ft.

: Luckily I thought of this before cutting the cross sections. I have
: them mapped out on plywood, but they can easily be modified.

I'd email Tom and ask for a revision if needed. He's always been very helpful in the past.

I've raised the decks on several boats, you're the builder, it's your boat, do what you want with it. It is though easier and faster for the designer to do it on the computer.
