S&G: Tinting Epoxy Reddish Brown

I checked the archives, but my specific situation isn’t covered yet.
I have a JEM Sabalo S&G that needs a new epoxy layer over the glass. I have sanded carefully down to the glass at this point. Pic #1

I want to go darker this time than the "amber" color from saturated okume marine ply. Here is another Sabalo recently built, notice the wood is providing the reddish-brown tones to a large degree vs. saturation. Pic #2 thru x.

I need your opinion on how to simulate this (to the best extent possible) with only tinting the epoxy in the new fill layer.
