Whoops- didn't realize it was so small

Okay, after reading customer reviews I saw many said it was rather small. I thought the 1 1/2" base was the little black thing only where you put the sticky stuff. I see now that the whole thing is apparently 1.5" I guess it's got its purpose in life but that's kind of small for navigation.
