: bend in the deck ridge the way I have the sections cut out. The
: offset table has HB at 0.20 feet and HAB at .915 feet. To me
: this means that the top would be approximately 0.40 feet flat,
: but I am be misinterpretting it.

The class I teach built a Sea Bee last year. The foredeck (in front of the cockpit) is peaked all the way to the bow, the stern deck is flat or nearly flat.
