: Epoxy allergy? Is this something that develops over time from
: exposure? I have to admit, I epoxied the surfboard in the living
: room due to the weather outside. I breathed way too much of that
: stuff. It's hard when you don't have a workshop and you live in
: the tradewinds. Try laying out 4 oz cloth in 15 knot winds. I
: actually was able to do it on the hull, but moved it indoors for
: the deck. I used weights to hold the cloth as I wetted it out.
: Once wetted of course there was no problem except then the bugs
: came along. I think the sweet smell of epoxy must attract them.

The rate at which a person gets an allergy varies from person to person, you don't know ahead of time if it'll take years of exposure to cause a problem or perhaps even days.
