I'll have to try to figure out a way to scan a book I've got. It's got actual wood samples in it for a whole bunch of different species of woods. Also should look up it's title, though I don't know if that book is still available. Would be helpful I think if I could scan it and post pix. Might be a copyright issue?

Red oak is much more common and is much cheaper usually than it's white cousin.
