I had not seen reference to this, nor did it cross my mind until now, just a few days before application. My wood is mostly Danish oiled, with some parts epoxy coated. Whether there's some bonding of skin to wood may affect my strategy in stitching to my rigid coaming ring, which I address in another thread.

If there is adhesion, how does this affect reskinning procedure?
