: Your "first" wife? That's funny! Well sir, I was going to
: post a pic for you to show her, but it seems the pic posting has
: changed and it no longer lets me post from Shutterfly. Go to
: this link:

: I'm building a wood surfboard in my guest bedroom. You can show her
: and say, "Hey honey, it could be worse- I could be like
: THIS guy..."

: Actually, there may be hope- try hanging some 300-watt lightbulbs
: over your work to heat it up. I use them in my guitar
: side-bending machine and they get hot enough to bend wood (at
: close range) maybe it will work for your situation. I've seen it
: done in many posts. Unfortunately my problem is the opposite- I
: have to wait for it to cool off before I can glass and I have a
: very short window because the glass kicks fast. Think of your
: problem as a blessing in disguise! It's easier to heat up the
: area than to cool it off.

Thanks for the tips - as well as the link to your build site. Looks like a fun project. BTW, I ran this post past SWMBO - her comment "notice that he's still single...."

Haha!
