: Sorry Tom to if you feel offended, not offense intended. I'm not a
: kayak designer and maybe i mixed up terms, again excuse me. But
: i never take a persons word as the bible, so call me sceptical,
: even ignorant if you want to call me something. I just wanted
: some other opinions, like a second doctor's opinion before i
: commit to use one of your designs to use in a summer workshop
: with youngsters. I want them to built kayaks where they don't
: grow out of too quickly and going on those other designs i
: mentioned i started to doubt.

I'm not offended. In fact, I find your comments rather amusing.

As I said to you earlier via email, I highly recommend you build the multi-chine Sea Bee 13.
It will insure that "most" builders will not outgrow it. If you have space to build
a larger boat, then the Sea Tour 15EXP or perhaps even the Sea Tour 15 (single chine).

However, as I mentioned to you before, I much prefer multi-chine designs as the boats
get wider vs single chine. That, in fact, was the reason I dropped the original
Sea Bee 13 ( single chine), in favor of the much more responsive Sea Bee 13 (multi-chine)
and the Sea Tour 15EXP / 17EXP.

But don't take my word for as I'm not the bible :)

And that's all I have to say about that.......

Regards, Tom
