: Bob,

: The Night Heron and Expedition are both designed for someone a lot
: heavier than you. Their design displacement is for an ideal
: paddler and gear weight of 200 pounds or more. They are also
: very flat-bottomed boats, so lighter paddlers will find
: themselves slipping downwind faster than most other kayaks with
: appropriate loads and rounded or shallow V bottoms.

: Not sure if your feet will fit in the regualr Guillemot, though.

: You might also consider one of the One Ocean Kayaks. The designer,
: Vaclav, has big feet and the decks on his boats tend to be
: higher.

: John
I have a expedition single and I have size 13 feet. They are some what tight but not bad.I am 170 lbs. And it is a bit skidish. I am going to start a Night Heron hybrid high deck soon. It has a harder keel and might track a bit better and maybe be a little faster. But the expedition is a nice boat .kirk
