: I've just designed and built a new "Sonnet Double". It's

: under 15 minutes, and weight is only 37lbs. It paddles like an SOF, not an
: inflatable. It's size allows it to be easily paddled as a high volume single.

: Most of the boats I design are built as wood frame SOF's, but for me folding
: kayaks are easily the favorites, with inflatable / folders offering the
: greatest design challenge and therefore the greatest satisfaction.

Hi Tom,

From the pix it looks more like a decked canoe than a double kayak, still interesting. Still at this point thinking of building a solo sonnet over the winter, we'll see.
