Thanks John. A little more about the wood, especially the deck: I purchased 1x6 tongue & groove cedar paneling from Cedar Mill Outlet in Bozeman, Montana. The same paneling was on the wall of the office, and Kevin pointed out the nice color of the wood. So I lucked out, as the cedar paneling made great strips. The widths ended up being 5/8", which worked well for the Guilllemot shape. I have paddled the boat a few times, and am very happy with its handling and performance. Looking forward to spring.
Chris
