Rats, sorry about that.
I do it mostly like Tom does but have started using dowels to hold the coaming on, glue in the dowels with carpenter's glue and I use Lexel as a caulk to seal the coaming to the fabric and the rings together. Lots of clamps and the next day it's all set up and sealed. Makes for a nice flush attachment.
