OK, so I get it now. You used that piece of wire on the diagonal to tighten, and pull the twist out of the boat. Cool.

As I recall, this design was based on a recovery kayak, correct?

Since you are referring to the planing hull, do you intend to surf this in breaking waves, or a little more white-water?
