No. Everything is glued with five-minute epoxy. No metal or plastic parts. Joe's seats sort of snap into the cockpit, which makes them very secure, yet easy to remove--which also makes bulkhead hatches easy to access, so I've dispensed with deck hatches on three boats, now.
