That was using one exterior layer of 4-oz glass, tapes on the inside combined with wee fillets. No end pours, no hand toggles and no deck lines. I used a piece of plywood as a bulkhead/footrest support to seal off the bow. I used insulating spray foam to create the footrest. The foam was allowed to set then it was carved to create a flat surface upon which I glued (contact cem.) a section of 1/2" closed cell foam so that I could paddle with barefootedishness.
