Glassed over solar panel sheet on rear deck attached to trickle charger in batterybox? Black carbon deck elsewhere for unified appearance? or just over the whole yak.

Hopefully in a short while we could just buy rolls of the stuff for whatever outdoor glassing project is contemplated. Probably in a few years it'll be translucent and we'll be able to see woodgrain again, heh heh.

Separate (not builtins like above) solar chargers are used fairly frequently by camping paddlers.
