When the deck is attached the hull comes back to its proper shape.

By the way, where are you geographically located? It is more difficult to suggest suppliers of glass and resin without knowing this. You might have a local source, or you might be buying something by mail. The builders in Australia have options that can't be found in the USA, for example.
