Ah, another good looking (and improved) frame for that nifty design. I wonder, though, if you went a bit overboard with the size of the hole in the rear stem plate...

What wood are you using? I am just finishing the frame of a Sea Rider multi-chine. It's kind of heavy, as I used clear and dense fir, since it was all I could come up with in 18 foot length (and wanted to avoid scarfing). In second guessing my choice, I considered that scarfing white pine might have been better, but the wood at Lowe's is all knotty. The specialty shop I got the 18-foot fir from also sells nice redwood, but was not sure of its strength in this application.

: Finally after much work I took the new improved Curlew off the strong back.

: More rocker. Peaked the rear deck. Slighter larger and longer cockpit. Plus I
: reshaped the #5 frame to allow more leg room and no skinned shins
: hopefully. 96.4% lashed together. ;)
