: haul anything bigger than your lunch , they are strictly day kayaks with
: very minimal storage , for beginners they are tippy and that can be deadly
: especially in colder water ie. below 70F . Depending on your skill level
: and needs a Greenland kayak can be a dream or a waste of time. Be honest
: about your abilities , it is your life at risk. Take lessons and try a
: variety of kayaks before you build - you will be glad of it.

: period. Tom Yost has the Sea Dart which may have a high enough deck for
: your feet - if not then it could be raised .

Well...a more stable cargo hauler may well be more useful for you, but may not be for someone else. Being more stable in smooth water isn't a really great thing is the waters you paddle on are mostly rough, a narrower boat rides on rough waters better than a wider and/or flatter one.
