I have paddled for years using the Waters Dancing S&G seat with a layer of 1/2" closed-cell foam covering the seat. My longest day of paddling lasted 18-hours during windy conditions on a fast mountain river. The angle of the seat is everything, also, the seat should not have any bulges that might put pressure on the legs. The WD seat angle can be adjusted by sanding the front wood support.
